Role Profiler Spin-off

This is one of my early attempts at playing with WEB based applications and takes the knowledge gained in writing the Performer package to reproduce some of the first module, the role profiler, in a web based format.

It takes you through a series of questions dealing with all aspects of the "management" components of your job and produces a standards based assessment of the major components of your job.

It may not sound exciting, but it was a challenge to write. The process of determining what standards go to make up your profile consists of asking a series of questions. Simple enough, except that the questions are not linear as your response will determine what question is asked next and answering "yes" to a question may, or may not, add components to your profile.

The logic turned out to be relatively straight forward once the data structures were sorted out.

The original profiler product is a PC based package and forms one of the modules of the Performer suite of programs.
